By registering for or using Kinyozi ("the platform", "the service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. These terms apply to all users including shop owners, cashiers, and barbers.
Kinyozi is a cloud-based barbershop management platform providing point-of-sale, commission tracking, analytics, expense management, and financial reconciliation tools for barbershop owners across East Africa. The platform is accessed via web browser and requires an active internet connection.
You agree not to:
You own your shop's data — transactions, staff records, and financial history. We do not claim ownership of your data. You may export your data at any time from your dashboard. By using the platform, you grant us a limited license to store and process your data solely to provide the service.
We aim to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance, infrastructure issues, or events beyond our control may cause temporary downtime. We will communicate planned maintenance in advance where possible.
You may cancel your account at any time from your billing dashboard. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that:
Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days before permanent deletion, giving you time to export any records you need.
Kinyozi is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including loss of revenue, data loss, or business interruption. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Nairobi, Kenya.
